Biography
Wanda Perdomo is a commercial and sports arbitrator at the Dispute Resolution Center (CRC) of the Chamber of Commerce and Production of Santo Domingo. She is a commercial arbitrator of the Dispute Resolution Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Production of Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.
She is also a member of the Arbitration Commission of the Dominican Republic of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and of Latin America International Arbitration (LIA), a group of Latin American jurists whose mission is to encourage arbitration and its good practices in the region.
She is the editor of the arbitration chapter of Latin Lawyer, corresponding to the Dominican Republic (years 2020 and 2021). She is a local contributor to the International Bar Association (IBA) for the preparation of arbitration guides.
She serves as co-arbitrator, presiding arbitrator and sole arbitrator or party attorney, in local, international and ad-hoc institutional arbitrations. Frequently, she exhibits in academic forums and is a columnist in specialized journals.
With experience in economic regulation and corporate law, she worked for 12 years in the telecommunications sector, as In-House Counsel of one of the main companies in the country.
Wanda Perdomo devotes time to strengthening institutions and the rule of law in the country, through the review of legislative initiatives, the preparation of articles on issues of interest in the national agenda and its active participation in civic organizations, which are a space for reflection and citizen training.
She has completed studies focused on public regulation at the University of Florida, and Administration for Lawyers at the Yale School of Management.
