Biography

María González has been part of the firm since 2013. She is familiar with civil litigation, real estate matters and inheritance law. She also counsels in labor issues.

She completed his postgraduate studies in Labor Law and Social Security, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree with the right to a Doctorate in Democratic Society, State and Law. María has participated in seminars and workshops related to Labor Law, Inheritance, Family, among other topics. She completed two Diplomas on Inheritance Law and Notary, Family and Inheritance Law.

Areas of Practice

María González specializes in advice and labor litigation, as well as advice and presentation of inheritance declaratios before the General Internal Revenue Bureau, and the consequent procedures of determination of heirs either before the Land Court of Original Jurisdiction or the Family Court.

She works in dispute resolutions of matters such as termination of work agreements, divorces and family law in general.

She is also involved in a number of real estate proceedings, either administrative before the Registry of Deeds, such as real estate transfers, applications for a Duplicate Property Deed in case of loss, mortgage cancellations, among others or of a litigious nature.

Education

Law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) (2012).

Master in Labor and Social Security Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) (2014).

Master´s degree with the right to a Doctorate in Democratic Society, State and Law at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) (ongoing).
